Recreational Paradise

The campground has approximately 1.5 km of riverfront.  When water levels are sufficient, you are welcome to come and partake in canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and other water activities.  We no longer offer rentals or transportation due to insurance policies.

Bicycling and hiking on over 30 kilometers of nature trails in the Sandilands Forest area is a beautiful way to to spend the day exploring various ecosystems.

A multitude of fireguard roads are a great venue for power bikes and ATVing activities. Trails are not maintained, so riders are asked to use them respectfully.

There is an abundance of flora and fauna in and around the campground including snapping and painted turtles, deer, rabbits, otters, beaver, owls, hawks, song birds, waterfowl, and many more species to watch and enjoy in a tranquil setting.
